At the opening of the School Year elections were held and resulted in Catherine Weatherley being named Games Captain and Rosa Hockey Secretary.

We welcome our new Games Mistress, Miss Gilheany, and as we go to print, it seems safe to forecast perfect deportment by the end of the year if the vigorous campaign now in progress continues.

Our thanks are due to Reverend Mother who had the junior Garden re-surfaced during the summer holidays so that it now makes an extra Netball pitch and has two Tennis Courts marked out for the summer season. There is no excuse now for anyone to be `out of practice'.
