School Netball Teams
Due to bad weather, the majority of the matches arranged for this term have had to be cancelled. In spite of this, the players are enthusiastic and a high standard of netball is maintained. The Under 13 team, and in particular F. Hopkins,A. Jacobs and L. Pyke, deserve a special note.
The latter have improved tremendously and show an enthusiasm that many seniors would do well to copy!

HOCKEY
I mention the word in hushed tones, in case the weather might hear, for even the most ardent enthusiasts are beginning to lose heart. So far this term we have been unable to visit the hockey pitch because of the bad weather, and our only hockey fixture had to be cancelled, due to the lack of practice.
I sincerely hope that we can rectify matters during the Easter Term, and that hockey sticks may once more be brandished!
R. Beveridge, Form VI.
