Junior III and Transition had Cake Sales, Reception had Lucky Dips, Preparatory did a Play. Junior I gave a Puppet Show and Junior II kept us amused for an hour or so at their Side Shows. A "Bring-and-Buy" Sale at the end of the term helped to swell the funds.
Thanks to the generosity of all and the co-operation of the Staff, we collected in all £60.
When we came back to School in September, we were delighted to see all the new equipment in the hall. Climbing apparatus, mats, etc. We were told that the `horse' was still to arrive, and it was coming from Scotland. One child wondered if it was a Shetland Pony.
Mr. Ward, our Bournemouth P.E. Organiser, kindly came to give us a lesson in P.E. and now we can use the apparatus whenever we have P.E. indoors.
We thank Reverend Mother very much for getting this equipment for the junior School and we hope to have a display on the lawn for our parents in the Summer.
We are very keen Netball players this year and we have already played several Matches. You will see the results below.
The term is nearly over and the Magazine goes to print. We are practising our carols and Choral speaking for our Nativity Play in which we shall all take part. This will put us into the true spirit of Christmas and help us to imitate the Child Jesus.
