Finally, we must record the visit of a past pupil's husband, Mr. Timmins (married to Anne Turner) and living in California. He was in England on business and Anne insisted on his calling at the Convent. We hope that one day Anne and the children will be able to accompany him and make a tour of the school.
Those whose names are not mentioned must not feel overlooked - they have probably come into print in the `Concrozier'and if not, please be assured that your visits or letters are appreciated and we look forward to meeting a record number at the A.G.M., which will be held at the Convent.
If anyone wishes to have addresses of her contemporaries, Sister Mary would be very willing to supply any information we have. There must be many living within reach of one another who could set up a Mini-Concrozian group in their particular area.
Magazines are being posted only to those who ask and who acknowledge the receipt of last year's issue. Concrozians will realise that publication is becoming increasingly expensive - so that the number of copies must be limited to those who wish to receive the Mag and to forward the subscription, which can no longer be included in the Concrozian membership subscription.
We trust that you will forgive this reference to finances, but we must be sure of paying our way, while endeavouring to guard against any devaluation in the quality or quantity of the Magazine!
Best Christmas wishes to all past pupils.
May God bless you all in the New Year.
Try to make it a "bumper" year for the
Concrozians by introducing at least one for
mer pupil who may not have joined the
Association.
On behalf of the Community,
may I express our thanks to the Committee
of the Concrozians, who so kindly remember
to send greetings and gifts for the big Feasts
of the year and to individual Sisters on
special occasions.
They have also inaugurated a fund to build up a Middle School
libriary. In this connection, the school is
most grateful to individual school-leavers
who so thoughtfully send books or cheques
towards the Reference Library Fund, and to
Gillian Matterfare, who generously supplies
a book prize for P.E. each year.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT
During the past year the Concrozians have grown in strength, but, despite this, the membership is not as large as it should be. Over the past twelve months we have held a number of very successful events.
The first of these was the Annual Dinner and Dance held at the Chine Hotel, Boscombe; this was attended by 70 people. Following this, on the Sunday the A.G.M. was held at the Convent, after which those attending were entertained to tea by the Nuns. The numbers at this event have increased over the years, but more people would be most welcome.
On March 6th a Beer and Skittles Evening was held at the Griffin Hotel at Wimborne. Then on April 9th the Annual Children's Party was held at the Convent; as usual, this was very well attended. For the second year running a joint School-leavers' Dance was held in conjunction with St. Peter's Old Boys: this was very popular.
On July 19th we branched out and held a very successful Fashion Show at the Convent Hall. This was given by County Casuals of Westbourne. Bringing us right up to date, we held a Beer and Skittles evening at the Walkford Hotel on November 8th. This proved to be somewhat of a record, as 46 people attended. Perhaps next time we can top the 50 mark.
Over the last year the Concrozians have launched a fund to start a Middle School Library. This is growing steadily and we hope the library will be opened before the end of the term. The Corpus Christi U.C.M. have helped us in this matter, and we are most grateful to them.
I hope that during the coming year we shall be able to welcome many new members, including the recent school-leavers after all, you are the Concrozians of the future.
In January we are again holding our GALA WEEK-END. I do hope as many of you as possible will be able to attend these functions. During the next year, if you are not a member, please make an effort to join us, and if you are a member please try to get your past pupil friends to join us.
