NEWS . . . . . . . . J U N E 5th
The Chairman had a delightful surprise, when she received a telephone call from Mother Panel, who as many will know, is with the Community's Guest House, at Rustington.
Mother Panel has arranged for a GARDEN PARTY to take place in the grounds on Saturday June 5th. An invitation has been extended to all past pupils to attend. This will be an ideal opportunity to meet - almost another reunion.
It is proposed to hire a coach, at no expense to those who travel, so that we can make a large party. Further arrangements will have to be made at a later date, when we have an idea of the number of people wanting to travel, so if you feel that you would like a day out, with or without the family, do please complete the enclosed slip and return it to The Chairman, 105,Parkstone Road, Poole, Dorset, not later than the 15th May.
If the weather is warm, the company will be good, it should make a super day out.
PAST NEWS
Although it seems a long time ago, a very enjoyable evening was held for the School Leavers, just before Xmas, at the Arundale Hotel,
It was pleasing to see them also at the A.G.M. For the benefit of those who were unable to attend, here is a brief account of last years events.
As usual the Children's Party is always a great success. If the Children don't enjoy the party, the Mums all enjoy the chance to get together.
The Summer Re-Union, was I think a very successful event, and certainly broke all records for attendance, look forward to this year. It may well be suggested that perhaps the summer is a better time of year for such an events than Christmas, January really to be correct.
The Dinner held at the Branksome Towers Hotel, proved to be a very happy affair, attend by over fifty Concrozians, and their friends, with our President Mrs. Browning.
For Concrozians who will find it difficult to support this years events because of lack of transport, do not let this deter you, ring any member of the Committee, and transport can always be arranged, do remember this there will be no excuse for non supporting.

It is regretted that there is not much news of last years fifth form, but their news has been delayed by the postal situation. We will have it for the next edition.
A small re-union took place in London at the beginning of
December, when Christine Place, Angela Street and Joanne Collis met
Miss M. Wood for lunch, and afterwards Joanna took Miss Wood to see
Taxence Rattigan' s play "The Window Boy".
Once again due to the post, it has been very difficult to keep contact with more recent Leavers, particularly ex-boarders.
Christine Place did however receive Christmas cards from Ruth Driez in Caracas, Venezuela.
Lucinda de Jesus in Bangkok, Thailand and who has just promised to write again with more news of life in Thailand.
