A Brief Description of:         Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament.

Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Parkwood Road, Bournmouth.

Time

Weekly on Wednesday 2 : 30pm - 3 : 30pm
For one hour with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Tea Afterwards.

Function

To increase in its members the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to work for personal sanctification by means of a special worship of reparation to the sacred Heart of Jesus.

Apostolic works of charity are involved and there is a close union with the Congregation of the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

A Brief Description of:         Apostleship of Prayer.

Place of Meeting

Currently there is no structured meeting place but plans are afoot to re-establish this.

Function

The aim is to promote the use of the prayer of daily offering of oneself to the Lord. To foster the life of prayer in the parish and to promote the Apostleship of Prayer publication "The Messenger"

Currently there is a Mass on the First Friday of each month for the intentions of all those who make the daily offering through the Apostleship of Prayer.
