A Brief Description of:         Children's Liturgy of the Word.

Place of Meeting

The Church Sacristy.

Time

During Sunday 9.30am Mass for twenty minutes.

Co-Ordinators

Mrs Alison Baverstock
Tel No. 01202 768644

Function

To give children aged approximately between the ages of 3 and 11 years their own liturgy of the Word. The children go into the Sacristy at the beginning of Mass and return in time for them to participate in the Offertory Procession.

There is a team of catechists who take it in turn to teach and supervise the children. They aim to give the children the experience of Jesus' love for them and to involve them in the Gospel. Also to help the children live the message of the Gospel.

If you are interested in joining the team of catechists or if you are a parent and interested for the sake of your child or children, please contact Mrs Baverstock.
