Below is a list of travel events to Religious sites offered by some Parish Churches. Normally the arrangements by Parish Priests are for their own congregations. However where places are available, organisers would like to hear from others wishing to join the party.
The Catholic Association organises an ANNUAL PILGRIMAGE, on behalf of any member of the Diocese of Portsmouth, often in association with other Dioceses.

The Confraternity of the Rosary arranges a pilgrimages to Malta and other religious sites.

Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

We take a group of sick, disabled and aged
pilgrims with us each year on a religious pilgrimage to Lourdes, in south west France.
The pilgrimage includes a full programme of religious events and other visits in addition
to nursing and medical care.
We invite applications from interested sick, disabled and
aged people.

Young Helpers
Would ALL young people, aged 17 years or over at time of travelling, who wish to travel with the Pilgrimage, please confirm their application for a place in writing to Father Dunne, as soon as possible (this includes those who have travelled before). Substantial assistance with the fare is given by the Lourdes Fund.
Those who will be travelling as Young Helpers for the first time will have to attend a Training Day at Park Place, Wickham, near Fareham, during the Summer of 2008. This is obligatory due to insurance.

Pilgrimage to Walsingham.
Monday 20th to Friday 24th October 2008
The Diocesan Confraternity of the Rosary is arranging a Pilgrimage to Walsingham.
Janet Bischof writes
"Accommodation is full board - bed/breakfast, lunch and supper, staying at 'Pilgrim Bureau'. All coach travel and a pick-up/return from a Parish near you. One day coach excursion to places of interest. An optional itinerary will be arranged.
The coach will remain throughout the Pilgrimage for those who need assistance. The cost of the Pilgrimage is £195.00 all inclusive. A deposit of £6.00 is required when booking please.
Cheques made out to Pilgrimage Account. This amount will be deducted from the cost of the Pilgrimage. For further information and booking, please telephone 023 92 820744."
